Welcome to your solution...
Hi, my name is Deann and I have been practicing in the mental health field for over 30 years. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who serves children and adults. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional. I am also a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional. I have roots in attachment and family system theories, and believe relationship is key; but I am also very solution focused in my practice. I am trained in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) as well as trauma therapies such as EMDR and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) just to name a few. I believe in overall wellness and take a holistic approach to therapy with an emphasis on integrating services. I also offer clinical supervision for those seeking licensure, as well as consultative services to mental health agencies. I am currently accepting new clients and am taking online bookings.
I do not work alone! Petey the puppy is a hypoallergenic cavapoo and a registered therapy dog with Pet Partners. Petey will be in the office with me most days so please let me know if you would rather, he NOT be present for your appointment.
